In need of a new motherboard

208 Views 5 Replies 4 Participants Last post by  mothow
well as may know i am having nothing but issues with my evga 780i motherboard. i would like to find a motherboard with sli capability, can easily hold 8gb of crucial ballistix and of course our favorite best overclocking for a q6600.

reason why im looking for a new board is that im tried of dealing with rmaing my board and paying 20 dollars to ship it, and for the fact that i havent been able to play a decent game for about 2-3 months. also what is steering me away from evga is that they told me that my cpu could be bad(my quad worked fine with the last board)

thank you for the help

p.s sorry for the little rant/rave little upset

i had a striker ii formula, it was pretty good, great for overclocking and lots of features when i had a q6600
I havent had any trouble from my regular 780i-A1.I even had my board covered with coolant and it still works great.
I have had many many problems with my old 780i board, had to RMA it four times.

But you should be looking into the FTW version of either the 780i or 750i. They tend to crap out less.
