[06:46:09] Quit 101 - Fatal error: NaN detected: (ener[13])
[06:46:09]
[06:46:09] Simulation instability has been encountered. The run has entered a
[06:46:09] state from which no further progress can be made.
[06:46:09] This may be the correct result of the simulation, however if you
[06:46:09] often see other project units terminating early like this
[06:46:09] too, you may wish to check the stability of your computer (issues
[06:46:09] such as high temperature, overclocking, etc.).

What's this here? I'm 9+ hours prime stable, and I'm pretty sure I've never seen an error like this before. Ugh, this was on a Double Gromacs core too...600+ points.

There we go again. On a Gromacs core. I'm thinking I'm not completely stable, and since I'm also getting some frequent crashes in games, I'm suspecting my power supply, which isn't the greatest thing in the world.

So a pretty OT question. Will a digital multi-meter tell me for sure if the PSU is my problem or not? Or is it possible that it would show the rails completely stable, yet the PSU is still what's wrong. In other words, are their other factors besides rail voltages that make up a faulty PSU?

The multi meter should show fluctuations or an over or under volt situation but I am not sure if it will give the same readings as it would under a load and I don't know how to check one safely under load with a multi meter. When my oc was causing instability with folding I just cut it back from 2.6 to 2.4. I know that is a lot but I have had fewer problems and my cpu doesn't run as hot because I could ease up on the vcore. Veiwing your system specs, if it is your psu I would not buy another x-connect. I have seen a lot of bad reveiws on those. Try a sunbeem nuo or another highly recomended brand.

I know, I don't know what kind of illegal drugs I was on when I bought an Ultra PSU.
