i'm getting my c300 tomorrow. should i install it on the sata 2 then move it to sata 3? since some people recommend doing this to avoid issues with the marvel's 9123 controller. also, what is this alignment, i don't recall doing any alignment when installing with my intel x25m,

About alignment, this is something you should do if you use Windows XP (or earlier) as those OSes don't know how to properly partition an SSD. I wouldn't advice installing the OS on one SATA controller and then move it on another, but if you have to you should install the OS on SATA2 and then make sure you have the Marvel drivers installed. BTW, if the controller is that bad, why switching to it anyway?
