Installing Dell motherboard from Inspiron 530 into new case, stand off height problem

I transferred a Dell motherboard from an Inspiron 530 into a new case, but the stand off's that came with the new case dont raise the motherboard quite high enough and the problem Im running into is the pci/e cards do not completely fit all the way into the slots.

They fit enough to power on and work but Im worried theyre going to slip out or malfunction if it moves the slightest bit since theyre not seated tightly into the slots.

The standoffs that came with the case look a lot like these here:

Im guessing since the motherboard was manufactured to Dells proprietary specs Im running into this issue. Anyone know a good solution? Im going to go to the hardware store to see if they have tiny washers that can fit between the motherboard and standoff, but Im not sure they will have them that small. i thought of stacking two standoffs on top of eachother but then that would raise up the motherboard too high.

There shouldn't be a problem. I've been running caseless for over a year now without any PCI bracket, and nothing has broke on me yet.

Although if you really are worried, you could try using a few washers to raise the standoffs a bit. If that's not enough, get some rubber and steel washers, some nuts and bolts, and a drill and make your own standoffs.

Dude, what size standoffs are you using? There are different size standoffs!
Im not sure about the size of the standoffs that were included. I will try to measure them when I get home. I wish there was a local computer store so I can try different sized ones but I live out in the country so nothing is really around...
