Installing WIndows XP on Laptop.

Hello, I need some help installing Windows XP Professional on my laptop that doesn't have a CD-ROM drive, but does have a floppy drive. I tried doing this , but it says I still need a CD-ROM drive. Any thoughts on why this might be. And is there a way to install with just floppies? Or does anyone have an extremely easy to understand way to install XP from the harddrive? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As far as I know there isn't any way of installing XP via floppy.

Floppy = 1.44MB
XP = about 5-600MB? Thats a lot of floppys.

The one you linked to is just the installer starter if the cd for example failed to boot. You will still need the CD to install it.

It'll take approx. 417 floppies to fit XP, if the tool used has no overhead at all. Use a tool called WinToFlash, which uses a flashdrive instead. This is assuming that you have USP ports
