i just formated my freinds pc and reinstalled xp pro.now we cant find any sound drivers,it has intergrated audio.pc specs intel pentium4 1800 mhz springdale motherboard,we seached for ages on google any ideas where i may download driver.

You don't have the Driver CD? What is the manufacturer? Have you checked their website?

what about the mother boardmakers website. and if i had to guess i would say its a realtek audio so try there ac'97 drivers from their website.

Also, if it's HD audio, you may get an error about Service Pack 2 and whatnot. I had that problem a few times. If you run into any issues like that, PM me and I can help
