this mother board and this cpu would do you alot better in terms of overclocking and performance per dollar. And it's only about 30 dollars more.

those are better but theres one problem, the mother is to big, i need one thats no more then 10'' 10'', you see i have a dimension 3000, and my plan is to get the 7800gs "AGP"

awsome, thats perfect, in your opinion how well of a set up will it be
the motherboard and cpu you suggested with the 7800gs, for a gamer

and one other Q: will the motherboard clean my memory, i could use it, im down to 23G's of 74G's

to clean your harddrive, do a fresh install of windows (back up any data you need to keep on cd-r)

EDIT: that setup with the cpu overclocked a bit and a 7800gs should be good for recent games

ANOTHER EDIT: if you plan on replacing your vid card too, you should get a pci-e board, a good budget pci-e setup would be this mother board, this cpu, and this video card

yes that Video Card it will, maybe not FEAR, you need LOTS OF RAM for that
but im gonna buy one

a celeron is not as good a a P4, but if yours was lame.... i dunno
id definatley go AMD over Intel anyday, but im getting an ES processor
celerons overclock more, but they less cache and a weaker architechure

you should fill out all of yoru system info in your user CP section
download CUPZ
and it will tell you most of the info you need to fill that out

hey horse, how do your games run with value ram jus wonderin?

also id get 2 gigs to run FEAR at maxed settings with a 7800 GS
its only a AGP
some people have trouble getting FEAR to hit max with pci-e
that game is INTENSE

but with good ram, you hill have HIGH settings on most everything

heh, same as other pc4000 ram, but i'm not even gonna bother overclocking while i have this, it would be immasculating

whats your FSB? 533 right?
you could OC your CPU and have headroom with pc4000 ram,
and you'd probably get lower timings
and if u set the ram on a 1:1 divider and didnt OC
you get even lower timings

which helps with intel gaming

on a friends computer, I set the divider from SPD to 1:1
it went from 3-3-3-6 timings pc3200(old value)
to 2-3-2-5 pc2700 and his computer booted literally 5x faster
(and goin from 128 to 1024, and away from onboard video helped
