Intel Core i5/i7 CPU Batch Guide

Folks, I noticed we dont have a 2600K/2500K thread with a list of all the batches in, so ive decided to make one.

It will be similar to the i7 batch guide, but specifically just for the 2500k and 2600k chips, hopefully by submitting your information I can compile a list and that will help people to compare thier chips to everyone else's chips.

Feel free to have a browse on the chart and hopefully we'll get enough people's results submitted that it can help you to get an idea of how well your particular chip might overclock!

Please use the below form to submit your results, and I will update the main spreadsheet.

How I make a batch? Or what the hell is it? I just bought the boxed I7 2600k.

Let me know how I can help because I will be investing in a lot of time with this CPU, I also ordered the new waterblock for the board so I can get my liquid back-up and flowing.

Do you think I can do 3.9 without water? I'm waiting for my new block to come in and want to try.

I've seen 5ghz on air! (think it was a Silver Arrow cooler?)
they are very good processors, and Intel rate them for 1.45v Vcore, so I've got some way to go (1.384v Vcore at the moment) I'm hoping to get 5ghz-5.2ghz, just waiting till I get my new fans to get my temps abit lower, if that doesn't work as much as I hope I'll be switching to a XSPC RASA kit

just keep an eye on your temps, I'm trying to keep mine below 75c load, highest I've seen is 76c running Prime95 for an hour

The batch number is printed on the exterior of the box if you buy a retail box version of the processor. If you buy an OEM chip it may not be.

The batch number is also imprinted on the chip itself.

Here is an extensive thread at XS that lists batch numbers and OC results. The TS made no effort to collate the results (unfortunately).
