Asus B85M-G
Intel E3-1230V3
Corsair CX430
Zalman CNPS5X
Built a workstation PC for a small business and I guess this was an oversight...and a bad one too. Pulled up CPUID HWMonitor and it said I was running at 1.8V VCore. I pulled up the UEFI BIOS and set it to efficiency setting and it dropped to 1.6V. From my experience, 1.5V is already past what you should push your CPU but the temps laid around 25-27 at idle reaching 45 at load (about 75%, not full Prime95). Now I know these xeon processors are a bit different from the more common i7s but am I in trouble here or are these normal readings for this CPU?
