Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X4500HD

Is the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X4500HD for a laptop any good? My father is planning to buy my little brother a laptop and he usually plays game like CSS, CS 1.6 and games 3 years back.

that will handle css @ 1366x768 just fine. Roughly 30 fps with all med/high settings, and even better for 1.6. Most games around that time, will run around 30 fps with that igp on medium settings.

I just bought that for my brother, that will play any games that you mentioned and much more.

It is the best integrated chip out on the market as of right now
. Next one down is HD3300 / HD3200 (which is the same thing as the 4200's).

Don't use Intel graphics chips they suck. Go with ATI or Nvidia.
