hello , i found some topic about to improve stock hsf rpm .as above now max is 2000rpm and if u remove fan resistors u can get max 3500 , but there wasnt told how to remove them and where they are located. any one know about this?

am nto good at enlgish terms so sorry if stupid sentence

My guess is that the resistor would be located on the pcb board inside the fan. I honestly wouldn't remove it for risk of ruining the fan. Also, is it a pwm fan? Because if it is, you can change the fan in the bios from pwm function to non-pwm function which enables the full amount of speed in the fan and does not slow it down.
