What incentive is Intel giving to EVGA to promote their SSDs? Or is EVGA doing this to get in better standing with Intel?

You don't see other companies adverting other company's products usually.

Maybe Intel wants to buy out EVGA or EVGA wants Intel to buy them out like AMD bought ATI? Or they are just trying to say that their hardware is the best match for one of the most popular arguably fastest price vs. performance SSD available right now?

I thought you were trying to coordinate a plan to steal all the gold at Fort Knox....nm....

This is EVGA's way of giving Intel a reacharound...or would it be Intel giving EVGA the reacharound?...Thoughts?

On topic: intel paid off evga to advertise for them.... OR evga's gonna rebrand some intel ssd's

I vote reacharounds for all!

Seriously, it's probablly just the beginning of an "Enthusiast" joint ad campaign.

I'm going to go with the former.

OR Intel and EVGA are starting off their relationship so that they're already close to each other when Intel is looking for partners to sell Larrabbee...if you're bagging what I'm raking

Gay OCN orgy time!

Seriously though, maybe EVGA brand SSDs? EVGA needs to make everything as far as Im concerned. EVGA potato chips, EVGA cars, EVGA fighter jets, EVGA brand shoes, etc...

If there is a merger in the worx then Intel is gonna have to fix the motherboards. There are some major problems with the EVGA mobos. That would not be smart.

I think they are just trying to promote the EVGA motherboards by marrying the SSD from Intel to it.
This is good for both companies! Both have very good reputations among consumers. Both would like better access to each others' markets. Win win. It could also be that intel is greasing the wheels for the future release of their gpu and EVGA is happy to get closer to the wildly successful intel.

Don't read too much into it fellas. Intel and EVGA are just trying to help each other sell more.

Intel will probably need partners.... ATI and NVIDIA do. GPU's require a lot of customer support and more logistics support for RMAs. Intel does not want to get bogged down providing CS. Intel already uses many partners selling chipsets.

True, there will be many bugs with everything new that comes out and having support from companies that are purely dedicated to video technology would be very resourceful!
