Recently (within the past day) I have been having program problems where mouse movements, programs (VNC Viewer), keyboard input is lagging, etc.
I have done a virus scan using MBAM, which runs every sunday and hasn't picked up a virus in weeks. This latest system scan comes up clean.
Looking at Resource Monitor & Performance Monitor, things are updating "SLOWLY". I don't know if I can put that in quotes any more, and should put it in bold. Where as the charts are supposed to update with in 5 seconds, these are updating within 10 or more.
Honestly, I need some help. I don't get any BSOD's, but I don't know what to attribute this slowdown too, or the VNC Viewer crashes. I am wondering if it is the RAM, and my next step is to run memtest on all four sticks over night, but besides that, I am clueless.
The overall system just feels sluggish. Maybe I am not running things at the optimum level, or whatever, but could use some assistance.
