Does that make much of a difference while gaming? I've been thinking of using it, but I first want to see if people had problems or if it's worth the trouble...

I wouldn't pay for it [if you haven't got it]. You probably can do better just tweaking the OS manually. Also, your using W7 so I would expect an older optimization tool to not do the job as well.

I would stay away from IOBit products in general to be quite honest.

Not only have they been involved in some recent shady business, but you can do the same thing for free by following blackviper.com's guide.
