Hey guys. I'm getting a new contract on AT&T so I get a new phone

I was looking at getting the iPhone 4 until I saw the Atrix 4g which has the tegra2. I really like the better camera and screen on the iPhone.
Anyone have any experience with either? I'll probably use it mostly to take pics, watch movies, and listen to music oh and talk/text of course

Just looking for suggestions before I dive in.

I have both and I have been figuring out which to sell. I was intent on keeping the Atrix because I liked it more, overall. Just yesterday, I decided that I am going to stay with my iPhone because of the Apps I have. I use like 10X more apps than on my Atrix.

They are both great phones, but from my experience and by what you are planning on using it for, I would go with the Atrix.

From what OP stated. I would keep the iPhone over the atrix for your needs. Music system on the iPhone is superior compared to android method of handling music. The camera on the iPhone 4 is fantastic. For your preferences OP, iPhone 4 the way to go.

Netflix is available on the iPhone, not available on Android.
That was the primary reason that I got the iPhone. Their are other options to get movies and TV on the phone, but Netflix is easy and I already have it.

Also, isn't the iPhone 5 supposed to be out in a few months?

Well I may just go with the iphone. I know the iphone 5 will come out soon and will regret this, but that always happens with apple products

Also, did not know netflix was available on iphone.

There is no iPhone 5 this year, at Apple conference it gonna be just software.

My buddy has a Iphone 4 and I got the Atrix. I had the iPhone 3g before my Atrix. I wouldn't go back to Apple, that would feel like jail to me. Can do so much more on android. Plus Atrix is a much better futureproof phone than the iphone 4.

yeah you can read on several tech sites about apple holding off on the Iphone 5. Waiting on the white Iphone, Verizon just got the Iphone, and something about getting a longer shelf life out of this generation(Due to current strong sales).

It really depends. On the android platform you can def get a lot more customizability(word?) compared to the iphone. I came from the iphone to android and love it more. Music wise there is so many different apps to handle music you can play with.
Also atrix is def more powerful and up to date tech wise compared to the iphone.

Simple = iPhone

What I like about Atrix: external storage, HDMI, finger print scanner and your able to make it one of a kind.

I have both in my hands right now. I would get the Atrix if you are willing to hack. Better phone and will last longer. The iPhone 4 is half way through it's life. Plus if you know what you are doing the music system is just as good. Also Netflix on your phone? There's a hack for that.

If what they say (two posts quoted below) are true, that would be awesome, but regardless, I just got my iPhone 4, and don't regret it in the slightest. It's become a very convenient part of my life, and is twice as efficient for me with multitasking.

Giz and Engadget have stories. It is not final, and we very well may, but the picture they realized this year only mentioned software. The reason many think this is because Apple always includes a hint into the products being released in the picture for the event. Also there would be many pissed verizon owners.
