It is a device that allows you to load your OS and applications off RAM instead of a hard drive. Manufactured by kingston first i think. It's blisteringly fast...if you are Bill Gates and have a swimming pool and a half of cash.

We need some PCI-E 16x Cache drives, or something similar.

GigiByte has PCI card types that support 4G...<br />

DOwp. it the concept of RAM for a HDD takes of we won't need RAM on the MB! Like the current swap file on a HDD, having the swap file on a RAM drive so what good would RAM modules be, none!
