is 850w enough or 1000w

I dont know what to buy i want the 1000w corsair but it cost to much and i dont know ifi need all that power so i looked at the 850w corsair and i was wondering will it be safe for my build if i go with 850w??

Links are broken, but for 2-way SLI 850W is more than enough.

You can buy another vanilla GTX260 and overclock it to the same level, then SLI them. Should be fine. As for your power requirements, the HX850 is perfect.
850 is way enough man
dont waste ur money on the 1000W

850 is enough yes, but unless you really don't want to spend the extra money, I highly recommend going for the bigger one, unless (again) you are 100% sure you will never go to quad/tri sli. I made the mistake a few times getting PSU's that were too small.

Also, your 260's don't need to be the same clocks, but the faster one will downscale to match the slow one, iirc. I'm sure you could OC the slow one to match (or outperform) the faster one however.

The HX850 is MORE than capable of handling any tri-SLI setup, really.

I concur, the corsair HX850 would be good enough. Plus, the HX850 is better than the 1000HX.

850 watt will be great and will last for years. 1000 watt will be too much
