I would say yes also.

Unless of course you are running more than one monitor. Keep in mind that the image quality from DVI, being fully digital, is superior to that of the old analog VGA.

Single linked DVI-D supports 1920Ã-1200 digital.
Dual Linked DVI-D supports 2560Ã-1600 digital.

What did you want to do exactly? Video cards have DVI-I ports, not DVI-D ports. DVI-I supports both DVI-D and DVI-A (VGA).

VGA, DVI-I/D...
I have a nice VGA on my 1920x1200 monitor, and it works just as good as the DVI.

I don't get the question? You are asking if one DVI port is enough? If so then what do you do with your pc? A single DVI is good enough for most!
