Never really been there or tried it, just wondering if anyone heard anything bad about it. Any viruses or spyware crapola? Thanks for replies!

i think you are more likely to have problems on a site like youtube. :p

Hulu is very safe, don't worry about it.

they recently started removing old stuff from their site. i hate it. use ninjavideo.net
I like it. (well, my only complaint is the variety. Not always a lot to choose from, but nI'm picky)

As far as safe? Sure, I've never had an issue.

The only problem with Hulu is that it uses Flash and currently the performance SUCKS as it relies only the CPU. Even an overclocked quad-core can sutter at full-screen.

Can't wait till Flash 10.1 with GPU acceleration.

Hulu is supported by the big major broadcasting companies, and can be seen as the "official" version of YouTube.

It's very safe to use.

I'm testing Flash 10.1. Let's just not go there. It's HORRIBLE.

Yea man, hulu is great, no more searching around to find tv shows, most of them show up on hulu a day after they air with decent quality.
Been using Hulu for quite a long time now. I absolutely LOVE it. It has all the shows I watch on it which makes it very assessable.

As for you question of safety. Yes it is very safe.
I haven't had any issues and I am on there almost every day.

I think so. I too run a 24", Asus VK246H to be exact, and I don't run into any issues. I even fold 24/7 with my CPU, and still no performance hit while watching videos on Hulu.

Try dropping your CPU clock to 2Ghz?
