Hello, I bought some months ago a thermaltake soprano case but it´s posible that I sell it soon so that I could buy a thermaltake tsunami case instead, it looks pretty similar to the soprano case but tsunami is a lot lighter since is made of aluminum, and the soprano is made of steel, also the tsunami is about $30 more expensive.

Here´s the link for the tsunami case in newegg:

Here´s the link for the soprano:

Please, what do you recommend me? Should I sell my soprano case?
Waiting for your responses...

Whats the point? Do you move your comp around a lot or something?

The Soprano case has a front door made of plastic, high gloss paint, but since is plastic it´s rather a flimsy door, not sturdy door at all, whereas the tsunami case has aluminum front door.
I may carry it eventually to college and this case it´s very heavy for its size.

Another feature the Soprano is lacking while the tsunami doesn´t is that the Soprano´s Internal drive cage is not removable.

Keep in mind that aluminum will be more noisy.

See for me, steel makes more sense, because like sccr64472 said, aluminum is noisier. And for 99.9% of it's life, my PC sits on the floor, so I don't care if it weighs 50 pounds.

Well, I have read in several sites positives arguments on the tsunami case and that is little bit superior than the soprano case, and like I said before, I will carry it from home to college back and forth for projects and things like that.

And considering its looks, and design, and all...
Is it true that the tsunami is a little better than the soprano case?

Have you checked out the Shuttle barebones rigs? They`re about the size of a breadbox, are quiet, weigh about 15 lbs. and you can get a fair amount of stuff inside. This would be good for transporting back and forth places. Plus, you can build them practically any way you want, giving you lots of choices of build and how much money you want to spend. < www.forums.sudhian.com > is the site dedicated to feedback on these machines, if you`re interested.
