Hi, Ok so im currently running with 2GB RAM and windows 7 x86.
I find that when loading games my PC can be a bit slow.
I am running 2 250GB 7200.12 w 16Mb cache Drives in RAID 0 and am at 4.1 GHz on my CPU.
I mainly use my PC for gaming and file sharing.
Im looking at :
OCZ PC3-12800 DDR3 1600 4GB Reaper Heat-pipe HS 2x2GB Kit - CL 7-7-7-24, 1.9 Volts, Reaper HPC Heatsink, Lifetime Warranty
OR
OCZ PC3-10666 DDR3 1333 4GB Reaper Heat-pipe HS 2x2GB Kit - CL 6-6-6-20, 1.75 Volts, Reaper HPC Heatsink, Lifetime Warranty
I have 2 questions:
1. Would upgrading to 4GBs and x64 give me a considerable performance boost?
2. Would 1600 be worth about 17% more than 1333?
I know that AMD's prefer tight timing, would the timing of the 1333 be possibly faster than the 1600?
Thanks.
