Good day to all at overclock.net, I have an Intel Dual-Core e5400 and a nvidia GTS 250, both are at factory clock speeds.

I was just wondering if maybe my CPU is holding down my video card. If it is, then what should I do. I can play most games on very high settings at 1366x768 resolutions. I don't know how to overclock both of my CPU and GPU. A little help on how i could improve my PC's performance would be really nice.

Please fill out your systems specs in your Overclock.net User CP to the best of your knowledge. That way we can see what motherboard, RAM, etc you have and can further assist you in the most accurate way possible

Lower resolutions are a little more CPU dependent.
If you're looking for more performance I'd probably upgrade the E5400 first.

It's not a gigantic bottleneck, though.
