So, every time I try to turn on my comp, it turns off 1-2 seconds later...
It has done this with two motherboards. The gpu and psu are fine as they have ran in a different system.

start bby taking out every single component not needed to boot to bois(HDD,CD drive, stuff like that). That means unplug all external things as well that are not needed to boot. try to turn on again and if still nothing reset cmos. still nothing try different ram sticks then post back.

My new one would not boot with a Certain CD drive plugged in. Computers have weird issues sometimes.

Theres a jumper on the mobo that you have to move its down next to the front panel connections, look in the manual. Do this first as theres no need to take out all your components when this could solve your issue.

Make sure all connections are in place, i would try using all the basic hardware needed to post ie. one stick ram at a time and as suggested above clear cmos.

EDIT: It seems that clearing the cmos can be a toughy sometimes as the jumper setting doesnt sometimes register, this is the best way I found to clearing the cmos and it works everytime:

Unplug ac
Press power button to ensure no power remins in the rig
Take the batter out
Move jumper to the right
Wait a minute
Move jumper back to default
Put battery back in
Plug ac
Power on

Check the contact between the heatsink and cpu (sometimes it feels seated but it isn't), i've seen PC's turn off that quick before because of it (usually a heat issue) but it shouldn't really get that hot so fast but check anyway. Also as others have said, check every single connection on the mobo etc... good luck

It should be right next to the front panel hdd led, power and reset connections (bottom right of the board). Its a little blue cap that sits on 2 pins and there is 1 pin next to the cap. The jumper needs to get moved to that pin, like I said your manual will help you.

Did you let the jumper sit on there for 10 seconds?

If its two different boards I doubt its the jumper fix thats gonna work.

What all do you have plugged into the machine? just keyboard? the power and keyboard are the onlythings that should be plugged in. Heck even take the keyboard out on a try.

Go back to first page (sorry not on the pc at the moment) and try the method i posted on clearing the cmos, using the method i posted doesnt require you to move jumper, taking the battery is enough to clear cmos.

By the way did you try both ram sticks? Can you try a stick from your sig rig?
