Is my pc enough cooled? for overclocking

and then post your temps as long as they are below 50c load when u overclock then your fine im not so sure on intel temps but theres some help

cpu temp - 28 c
mb temp - 26 c

this is with my pc overclocked to 2500 something im testing it slow by slow.

this temp cames from asus probe 2

i also did this. ropey tell me to do that now my clocks on cpu-z goes to 2500 somthing

That about does it

Restart your system and enter the AwardBIOS setup by pressing the <Delete> key upon restart.

Enter your advanced

In step formation:

Set "CPU Speed" to "Manual"
Set "CPU External Frequency" (MHz) to 140 (133 is your unclocked spec)
Leave your "Vcore" at "Auto" ( You will change this later but for now you want to find your maximal overclock without raising the core voltage)

Move to "Chip Configuration"

Set your "SDRAM Configuration" to "By SPD"
Set your "Chipset Clock Mode" to "Asynchronous" (This is referred to a PCI/AGP lock and will keep your agp and pci bus both within their rated specs whilst you raise the CPU. Normally if you did not do this you would raise both your PCI and AGP bus out of spec and would easily render your system instable).

Yea basically he wants you to:

- run FSB:RAM at 1:1 ratio (you are currently running at 4:5 ratio from cpu-z shot)

- Use automatic RAM timings

- Lock PCI/AGP buses

Ropey knows what he is doing, so do what he says and you will not have to worry about damaging anything .
