i would say no since it happened three times in one day the motherboard will wait for awhile then ure computer will automatically back on

Maybe the mobo isn't able to get the signal out to the PSU to kick on. Try the usual things, checking all the connectors, 24 pin, and so forth.

Checked all the connections.I thought that's what it was on the first outage 'cause all of a sudden it came on after jiggling the main plug on the back of the PS. Then it happened twice more and jiggling didn't help, but it powered on as if by itself soon after.
