Is my PPD correct?

I really need to stop asking all these questions, but it's definitely tough finding solid answers. I have an 8800GT 512MB folding and it's getting over 4,000PPD, and that seems right. however, I have a 9600GSO on the same system, and it's only getting around 2,000PPD. I thought the 9600GSO's were supposed to get higher. OC on the 9600GSO is 600/1500/850. This is the version with 96 SP's, 384MB ram.

when you add 2 different cards to the same machine you will see a ppd hit on the lower end card so your ppd looks fine

BTW ask away. We're like the dealer giving away free samples until you are hooked!

sam....thats what I was trying to explain to you over IM a couple days ago. That is also why I did not want to use my 9800s and 9600s in the same machine. That GSO is going to take the PPD hit since it has less stream processors.

When did this happen. I was folding on 2 8800GT's and a 8800GS and did not take a point hit what-so-ever.

Just curious, are you getting over 4000 PPD on your 8800GT on the WU units? I'm only getting around 3500 there. And it seems right, especially since you have another card in.
8800GT's with my 1836 shaders, here is my PPD output (181.20 drivers)

353-5950
420-4850
511-3790

Happened when I put the 9600GSO in. I paused the work on my 8800, and saw only a 10% increase maybe. Could it be because of the PCI-E slot running at a lower rate? I might switch slots and see what happens....

*EDIT* FieryCod, I have no idea what you mean. I'm brand new to folding. I've only been doing it for three days.

Ah. You get different work units when you fold. 353 credits, 420 credits, and 511 credits. The two first ones are just for Stanford to test to see you are working on correct units and sending data correctly. The third one is the actual protein you research.
