Hey guys, i found an old samsung sem-dt45 in my grandparents house, is this is a mechanical keyboard?

It has the color scheme of an IBM model M and is ps/2, looks at least a decade old and doesnt really feel like rubber dome.

Thanks in advance

The 26th Webwit Axiom strikes again.

No matter how rare the keyboard, with google search you can find a dust cover for it.

Mechanical switch or buckling spring; I'd lean towards the latter.

***Edit***
A few pages I've came across describe [what I believe to be] the predecessor (DT35) as an incredibly well regarded mechanical switch keyboard.

Take it with a grain of salt though...what do I know.

Dont even need to open it, just pop a keycap off with a pair of flathead screwdrivers, take a pic of what's underneath and post it here.

If we don't get a response, we'll assume you've blinded yourself with a rogue spring gone lose and imagine the keyboard to be buckling spring.

I won't lie, it has a very topre-esque feel to the keys because of the sheer dust collection in the shafts. Its rather pleasant but i think i will invest in a traditional mechanical keyboard sometime soon.
