You can fold with your CPU. But you can only fold on Nvidia GPUs, not ATI.

Let me correct myself. I was thinking of crunching with GPUGrid.
Sorry.

You can fold with ATI GPUs, it isn't as effective. But who cares, if you can fold, then do so. Forget the points.

Which one do i choose to download, i am running xp 32bit?

One says:
Windows XP/2003/Vista
System tray client installer with viewer

one says:
Windows XP/2003/Vista
Console client only zip file (with Windows-service-install option). Uninstall any existing FAH services made with pre 6.23 clients before updating.

systray, not the console
yes you can

download the gpu client here

and i believe you can run two instances for your x2
Do i need to join ocn team, or is my system to slow to help out the ocn team?
Your rig is soooooo good enough to fold. Its not about getting crazy amounts of points though right? Its about helping out, and thus, any cpu can help out in its own way, but with a friggin phenom 940 and a 4870x2 you will be able to help out in a biiiiig way!

Here is your link sir. In case you are wondering, your cpu can fold, as well as your gpu (might even be able to fold in two instances since its a x2, i dunno, im not an expert on folding)

yeah, wrong.
ATI gpus can fold but are not too effective at it. you can fold on all your cpus cores and both gpu cores. If you want you could spend ~$50 for a 96SP 8800gs/9600gso and get a lot more PPD.
