Is my southbridge 700 or 710

Hi guys,

I recently bought an amd phenom II 555 black edition and an asus M4A785D-M PRO motherboard hoping to unlock the cpu from 2 cores to 4 if lucky.

So far ive had no success and was thinking i may be one of the unlucky handful who have a dud cpu.

But, after installing CPUZ it is showing that the southbridge is 700 and not 710 which the motherbourd is supposed to be.

Is it possible i have been sold a dodgy motherboard or is CPUZ likely to be wrong?
Thanks in advance.

CPUz is wrong, same goes for me. SB710, CPUz reports it as 700
Thanks Guys.

I must be one of the unlucky ones then. I shall have a look round for a true quad core and buy one. Perhaps i should have done that in the first place.

That's why I got a tri-core. Even if it doesn't unlock, you end up with 3 cores, which is more than enough
+The OC is amazing..

Ok. To make sure it is a SB710. Look in the bios for ACC.
