You also need to realize that most people's SuperPi 1M times are on a machine that's not stable. Some even take the side off and put a household fan blowing directly on the processor or sit it outside for cold air. You can't compare those times to a computer sitting inside running it's 24/7 settings against something that is only stable enough to run a 30 second test. Take it all with a grain of salt.

nah i dont think thats right about amds giving better pi times.

as they up the top with 3500 amds are saying that they get 35-39 with that.
I heard about that man that got somthing like 8secs on his 1m pi score using a 8ghz frozen p4

42 seconds with new settings..ouch!! I scored higher when i was at 1.9 ghz with a fsb of 220! I guess clock speed doesn't affect this thing huh? @ 1.9 ghz and 220 fsb I had like 39 compared to 42 with a higher clock. Dividers kill your performance
