Hi there. I was just wondering what anyone else had to say in regards of upgrading to a faster card with more ram? It's just a thought as of now!

see how much you could sell the 7870 for to decide if it'd be worth it!

What I intend to do is probably just wait until the 8000 series comes out? Or just wait until the new 700 series to come out for Nvidia! I've just had the 7870 for over a year and I'll just keep it as a back up! You can never have enough back up stuff!

Deciding how good your card is depends on your opinion of the card if it's giving you the results you want in the games you want to play. If it's satisfying for you, then good enough. If not, consider upgrading or waiting till a later generation of cards.

8000 series cards are identical to the 7000 series... Literally no change at all and intended for OEMs like the 300 nvidia series.

HD 9000s presumably out 2014!

700 nvidia could be worth a wait though, I think the 780 (if it exists!) will be something special
