i know for a fact that theres a way to convert a dvd for free iv seen a website bout 6 months ago but cant find it now can u guys help plz

i got this really cool show and wanna show it to my friends but they don't want this 15 episode season cuz its 33GB I DON'T WANT IT ETHER so i need to make it smaller

I think the free Windows Encoder that you can find on M$'s website can convert DVD to AVI.

If not then use TMPGenc which has a 14 day trial I think.

I went to double-check, but couldn't find out for sure. Check MS.com yourself, if you like.

It appears that TMPGEnc is an *.AVI to mpeg1 converter, and its website doesn't look to directly state that it will do the reverse... :-\\

its called AVI2DVD.. its free and you can go from AVI to DVD or DVD to AVI. comes with 3 encoders. very good enocoding capabilites for free.
