Hi I'm looking to make a very small water cooling system pc as a pet project. The motherboard I'm looking at is "Intel BOXDQ45EK LGA 775 Intel Q45 Mini ITX Intel Motherboard". I'm sure I can put a cpu waterblock over the cpu. But that chip with the ugly heatsink on it (I assume its the Southbridge) doesn't seem to have any holes to support a chipset waterblock. Is it possible to mount a waterblock on it at all? Thanks for any inputs!!!

The heatsink in on your northbridge the Q45

The exposed chip that says "Intel" on it is the Southbridge

And no you're not going to have luck with a water block. You could put a new heatsink on it though.
Like the Xigmatek Porter
Kinda a waste though
