So i have:
i5-6500
16 gb ddr4 ram
asus z170 gaming pro gaming
evga gtx 970 ssc acx2.0 gpu

I was playing FC Blood dragon get alot of artifacts will playing. I haven't seen this in any other games i've been playing. So i was wondering if i need to send my card in for repair or just wait for a better driver. Maybe its thermal related...? ran heavenly right before posting the card hit 80c, but the boost clock was still holding steady. heavenly did have this one spot that was questionable too, so yeah.

thanks guys

If you're OC'ing it pull it back some. If you're running stock then I'd contact EVGA about it.

Yea I'd contact EVGA. 80c really isn't terrible. I can easily hit 80c + on my 980 ti and run it for hours without problems. The 270x I had in my ol'ladys rig would hit above 80c all the time and she ran it like a dog playing mmos over the last 2 years and it's still kicking fine.
