Soon... in Valve time.

I'd guess at late May or June but I'm just spitballing.

The non-reference usually come a couple/few months later after a new reference gpu release.

No way we will see a series 800 in June. The Titan Z just got released and that's still the old Kepler. NVIDIA won't render it obsolete within less than 6 months. The earliest would be autumn, end of year or early 2015. Large 20nm Maxwell chips aren't ready yet: http://techsoda.com/no-20nm-graphics-amd-nvidia/

If you want a Denver based Maxwell part this year your only option might be a Tesla device at the end of this year. I doubt NVIDIA will put it on gaming cards this year, first they need to make some money.

Looks like Pascal will be released in 2016 which I guess gives a clue that maxwell will be released in late 2014/2015
Old news already and as usually, NVIDIA's roadmaps are useless. Don't expect Pascal before 2017. NVIDIA also said in 2010/2011 highend Maxwell GPUs will be out in 2013 and where are they now? NVIDIA is always behind schedule. Those roadmaps are just there to stimulate investors.
