hi! i do alot of computer work for people and i was wondering if there is any CUDA based programs to recover partitions or files off hard drives. It would make my the job go faster.
if there is not is there any good programs better than lazesoft data recovery professional which im currently using?

Haven't seen any CUDA ones... don't really know how GPGPU would help with this...
Anyway, best that I have used is Stellar Phoenix (for NTFS, FAT, CD, etc).

Yeah but its limited by a spinning disk - there won't be much advantage (that I can see) from someone creating a GPGPU based file-recovery utility...

Yeah i guess your right read and write speed would slow down the gpu. im trying your suggested program now on a 40gb drive.
