I bought a laptop WD HDD that claimed to be a new pull. I got it for my xbox 360 and i flashed it with hacked hard drive firmware to make it work with my 360 and it did work but i forgot to check to see if it really was new by checking the powered on hours count. Is there any way i can do this from the firmware image the hack tool backed up?

You will likely need to access the SMART data on the drive, however as you flashed firmware, I am not sure that data would have been preserved.
But that is what you need to check if it is still available on the drive.

In my experiance flashing the firmware does not erase the SMART data.
