Is this 24" monitor any good (Sceptre)? Also, 16:9 vs. 16:10?

I'm trying to upgrade to a better monitor, and I'm going to give my current 22" (1680x1050) to my gf. But when I look at 24" monitors, 90% of them seem to be 1920x1080 instead of 1920x1200. I don't know if I like the wideness of it, but I guess this is becoming the standard.

Can anyone who has gone from 16:10 to 16:9 chime in and share your thoughts?

Also, is that Sceptre monitor any good? I like the 2ms response time and the price seems fair. They seem to get pretty positive reviews across a few sites, but I could always use a second opinion.

16:9 I like better. Because it can easily be multi-purpose as movies run in 16:9.
Games are supposed to be better on 16:10 but, imo its not that much of a difference.
That brand is alright I guess.
I would try to find like a Samsung or something.

Here. This is a great monitor and its dirt cheap today.
"Games are supposed to be better on 16:10..."

That's my concern. =/ I game a lot, so I'm just wondering if 16:9 is gonna look too wide. Plus, a lot of video card reviews I see use 1920x1200. I dunno, maybe it's not worth the worry.
I believe games are "optimized" to run 16:10. That is what they were programed in.
I use a 16:9 and have had no problems in games with it.

16:9 is just cut down 16:10

16:9 - Standard HD Ratio

16:10 - Taller than standard HD Ratio = More Room

For Multi use - ie. Xbox360/PS3/PC I'd say 16:9 as those consoles are naturaly 16:9.

Otherwise go 16:10.
