The 7600 is a wicked card out for the nVidia. I'm getting a GT in my next upgrade. That laptop is worth more then my computer

What does 1.400 Canadian mean in understandable currency ? (US$)
That is a very good laptop. I would like a 17" WS to go with that GFX card, but it is still a really nice laptop. That is a pretty good price for that setup too.

Canadian is worth less then a dollar. $1400 would be about $1218 USD.

Right...
Where's my cookie?!

On Topic: I don't really know if it is a good deal or not, because I am not that laptop savvy... but that Core 2 Duo upgrade sounds pretty nice to me! (P.S. I'm not Intel savvy either.)

It is, just trust us who have been looking for a pretty good laptop for the last couples weeks
(a.k.a. me)

My mom's laptop has the 7 series gfx card in her laptop and it runs BF2142 pretty good. I was surprised it played it as good as it did.

Imo it's one of the best on the market right now. Only problem with a lappy C2D, is they tend to get pretty hot when you're sittin' on a high-graphic game (bf2, bf2142, FEAR, etc.)

It could have a P4-M which is outrageous when it comes to heat with anything intensive. The C2D's are the best out their right now, well the Pentium M might still be a little better when it comes to heat, but when the Memor (I think that is what it is called) Conroe comes out, it will probably be the top dog in mobile processors.

Yeah I've heard about those. I hear their averaging like 35 in a lappy stock. That's pretty good.

I don't know, personally I think a C2D would be pretty hot in a laptop. But I guess you're not ocing it then. I've heard no problems, it's still a damn good deal. PS. Todd, get a new HD

I had two in RAID 0, but I was intending to sell both for more storage and I only sold one. I am planning to sell my entire rig or part it out on here once I get enough rep. It will all be gone soon enough.

I hate to let it go, but I have to so I can pay some bills and buy some people Christmas presents.
