I am about to sort out my new rig, i have already bought the CPU and CPU cooler:

Intel Q6600 Quad Core CPU (Overclocked to 3Ghz)
Artic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro
4GB OCZ DDR2 PC6400 RAM
ASUS P5N32-E SLI Motherboard
XFX 768Mb nVidia GeForce 8800 GTX 600M Graphics Card
500GB Hitachi T7K500 7200 RPM - 16MB Cache (Windows XP Home Installed)
500GB Hitachi T7K500 7200 RPM - 16MB Cache (Windows Vista Ultimate Installed)
LG GSAH62N DVD DL +/- RW Drive

Thermaltake W0106RB 700 watt Modular PSU

--Antec 900 Gamers Case--
2 * 120mm Fans in front
1 * 120mm Fan in rear
1 * 120mm Fan in side window
1 * 120mm Fan in centre of case
1 * 200mm Fan in Roof

As you can see, i want to Oc the cpu to 3Ghz so i am getting the performance of the best quad core.

Is my cooling good enough to handle this system, the case will have a lot of air around it (In a large room).

Cheers

Whats that?

All i want to know is if the CPU will be happy at the clock with that cooling.

In the future when i have some more spare cash i will watercool the CPU only.

I was also considering PC8500 RAM but i don't think the mo'bo supports this?

Advice taken into consideration, i shall do my research on HDD, western digital appeal to me....

I need 500gig a drive minimum and want to pay no more than £100 per drive.

Now anyway... back to the point, what about my cooling. Is it good enough.

I can't see myself wanting to go above 3Ghz, that is fast enough.

Thats cool.... My case will be extremely ventilated anyway.... 5 120mm fans and a 200mm fan in top.

I have myself a situation. Due to the amount of programs i use on a pc, i need both XP and Vista.....

I want a minimum of 1TB total space.... I also really want RAID 0 because of its performance. Whats the best way to do this?

Should i get two 500 gigs and put em in RAID 0 then make two partitions with Vista on one and XP on the other.

From what i have heard, the performance gained from RAID 0 arrays is not that much if i am using a hard drive with a 16mb buffer?

Would the NXT Zero be a better case for my system than the antec 900?

I am not sure if that quad fan set up on the side would provide better air flow than the antec 900?

I have also heard some issues with sapce in the antec 900?

I done a bit of my own research on the Antec 900 and the Zero.

It seems that although the Zero is bigger and has millions of fans, its airflow does not compete with the Antecs.

I thought this would be the case as the antec sucks air through 2 120mm in bottom front ans pushes it out through a 120 and a 200mm at the top/back.

I can also ass another 120 in the middle to move air quicker and one on the side to cool the graphics card.

I think i will stay with the Abtec Nine Hundred

Has anyone had issues with the Thermaltake toughpower PSU's in this case?
