I am just wondering if this system process is normal to have at startup? I never noticed it before and my PC has been restarting all the sudden.<br><a href="http://assets.overclock.net.s3.amazonaws.com/1/11/111eb78a_vbattach33692.jpeg"><img src="http://www.overclock.net/image/id/616687/width/525/height/525/flags/LL"></a>

Its a VERY normal process. Some thing else is causing your restarts. Maybe Memory, Spyware, powerbox issue, motherboard problem etc. I think we need a bit more info.

Nope, thats fine. What are your temps like? That can often cause restarts. Also scan for spyware and virus's.

Well I believe that my temps are ok but the MB is a bit warmer than usual. I was thinking hardware too at first but I can seem to figure out what I did any different. It actually just started today or at least thats the first time I noticed. I guess spyware may be the culprit I haven't ran one in a while.<br><a href="http://assets.overclock.net.s3.amazonaws.com/d/d1/d1c61657_vbattach33693.jpeg"><img src="http://www.overclock.net/image/id/616686/width/525/height/525/flags/LL"></a>

Well, temps look fine unless it is reading them wrong. Go into bios and see what temperature that reads. And yes, I would run some spyware checks.

That program reads from the BIOS, whatever thats says is what the BIOS says. The BIOS is wrong about those 3.3v rails though, I had a MM hooked up for an hour and the volts were fine. I switched to the 12v rail and alls well there to.

If the virus/spyware scan does not work then put memtest86 on a cd. Boot it and let it do all the tests 20 times. (Might want to leave it on overnight).

</div>"Some" Trojans as in more than one. In future you seriously will need to keep a tighter grip on your security. A trojan means some one else could of taken complete control of your computer.

I can't help but notice the '68 blocked popups'. That tells me something isn't too right there lol. Definitely a Spyware/ Adware issue.

99/100 viruses that people get are trojans - most are pretty harmless. most of the time the trojan is just something that dl's spyware etc - not a hijack attempt.<br><br>
don't worry too much if you have a trojan or two. if your av starts kicking out virii that aren't trojans - now you should worry

On the google bar, it tallies up all the blocked popups in the time you have had it installed. 68 isnt nessesarily that many, unless they changed how it works.

Umm... I don't see whats wrong with the picture.<br><br>
System Idle Process is <b>supose</b> to have a high number under the CPU section when the system is idle, that means its not doing anything. When SIP is 0% or something that means that your CPU is at load. If you look at the bottem of the task manager it shows that the CPU Usage is 0% <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/smile.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Smile">

well I cleaned out all the infectious crap and it is still restarting. I am about to tear it all apart and see how that works. When I ran memtest86+ after about 45mins my PC restarted but no error's were reported. It just kept restarting even after I returned everything to stock.

I've read that scvhost.exe can be used as malware... I noticed you have 2 instances running in SYSTEM.

If I dont have it then I restart anyway.<br><br>
EDIT: Sorry I only had like 50 seconds to right that. Anyway if I try to end the process then it restarts my PC. I have like 4 instances of this svchost.exe thing and none of my scanners picked it up. I used Ad-Aware, Spybot S&D, and Advanced windows care 2, and for virus scanner I use Avast and they are all updated.<br><br>
I just did a hardware seating, I took out most of my components and put them back in snug, I also reseated all my cables so I hope all will be well here this time so far so good.
