I have this memory :http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231032

My bios is detecting it as 2.5-3-3-5 on auto, changing it to manual and changing the numbers to 2-3-2-5 creates problems, system will not boot. I ran CPUZ and under the SPD tab, I'm getting the advertised timing of 2-3-2-5 @ 200 mhz, what's the problem?? Anyone else have had this problem?? If changing the timing manually, what else do I need to change?

Up your VDimm a notch.
It says on the NewEgg page you posted that this RAM can run at 2.6 to 2.75V so maybe VDimm needs to be at 2.75V before you can set those tighter timings.
What voltage are you giving your RAM ?
I also see that people posted reviews on NewEgg for not being able to run this RAM at CAS 2 (CAS is the first number in your series).

Quote:

Cons: Would NOT run stably at CAS 2.0 latency at 200 MHz, even if SPD timings say so. I tried increasing the voltage to 2.9V, and it did not work

yeah, up your vdimm a bit to see if that helps w/ stability.

Also, run memtest to see if you get any errors at the looser timings... if you don't tighten them up and run memtest again.
