Been running my Q6600 @ 3.6 for awhile now when some one said that i should try and go abit higher after they notice my VID is 1.2375v

So i have taken it up to 3.8ghz @ 1.450v should I keep going and do you reckon i could get to 4ghz?

I think 3.6 is a great overclock and 3.8 @ 1.45v is incredible.

You're on water, I bet you could hit 4.0GHz, as long as you stay under 1.55v, and under 72c, you're good mate...

Nice work, and Just FYI, that VID is very low for a Q6600. Very nice!

good OC.

I just got mine used and it has a VID 1.2250v and I don't have a super board to overclock with and I am on air and all I get so far is 3 Ghz @ 40-40-35-37 deg idle with just a slight volt bump. I can't wait to get a good board and water
