Is this speakerset a good deal?

Browsing a local store I found a set of M-Audio Studiophile AV40 speakers. They are on a discount from â‚¬169 for â‚¬129. Should I get these? Is it even a good deal?

Just looking to replace a set of Logitech X230's. If you know any other good sets I should know about let me know. They will mainly be used for music and movies.

It seems it's not such a popular set

So I went ahead and ordered them, because I could get another 10% discount and free shipping. They should arrive later today or tomorrow

they are good speakers, but the price seems high... I believe I've seen them quite a bit cheaper in the US, but IDK what the going rate will be for you.

Yeah, they are good speakers.

And that's normal. You Americans get things a lot cheaper than any of us Europeans do.

Well, there's VAT to take into account mainly... I suspect if you didn't have that, there'd be a much smaller gap between your pricing and ours.

Ok, in the end I paid â‚¬116 for them including shipping. To give you an idea, the Logitech Z2300's would have costed me â‚¬147.

I should be getting the package today.
