AVG is a trusted spyware blocker <img alt="" class="inlineimg" src="/images/smilies/tongue.gif" style="border:0px solid;" title="Stick Out Tongue"> That is just a pop-up. However, don't click on pop-ups.

No it's not, just an advertisement.<br><br>
AVG is no longer going to be free starting in January. They are most likely marketing their product so that you'll have some sort of incentive to buy it since you are using it at the moment.

Do you use AVG? If not I would say yes to malware. Also even if you are using AVG I didn't know it gave popups.

I don't use anything (behind a router and multiple firewalls...3) and have never gotten anything on this computer. My lappy has been infected multiple times.

Notice the add says 7.1 will be discontinued in January, please see 7.5 for the free solution. AVG 7.5 is and will still be free.
