Is it at 1.3v? If so, the CPU can go up to 1.5v on air, and your cooler should support the temperatures. Continue overclocking and raising the voltage when needed, and you should be able to get at least 3.6Ghz.

3.8ghz on mine, since were talking about a 500+ fsb faster higher frequency ram helps. I bought the G.SKILLS for the purpose of ocing. (Not really cuz i moved my OCZ's into my HTPC
)

1.4v in bios, 1.35v after vdroop. My ASUS motherboard could go to a nice 550 FSB (decided to round to 3.8ghz for it to look nice and breather room
) not sure about the gigabyte board.
