i am becoming really impatient as i have my monitors nearly all done and my current gpu cannot support running them all so i was wondering to just buy the r9 295x2 instead of waiting,

xfx is by far cheaper than anyone else currently selling r9 295x2 from my looks by £100

have they had any bad reputation for r9 295x2?

i have heard of people having lots of issues with previous xfx amd cards so was just wondering before i would buy one

cpu:5820k @ 4.3ghz
ram:32gb gskill @2.4ghz
mobo:MSI X99S SLI PLUS
psu: 1250w platnium zalman

as for games any at the moment and will be used for programming

resolution

5x1 1080p monitors and 1440p overtop

so 5400x1920 resolution

Better get a pair of r9 290 the pcs+ is 220GBP at Overclockers uk and they almost are 5%-7% behing a r9 290x .it will not throttle.where the weak vrm cooling on the 295x2 will be the main problem

Here is a thread where they cut back on 5770's with missing power phases and no more two way crossfire, http://www.overclock.net/t/641684/warning-xfx-5770-now-only-using-xfxs-custom-pcb/0_100
Misinformation hawaii gpus have the best cooling/noise ratio with xfx, even a DD does better job than the DirectCU or Twinforzr..

And almost all the r9 295x2 are reference design so brand has nothing to do with the quality.the only non reference is the powercolor devil 13 which is air cooled.
