Hey guys, just started folding about a week ago, and I have lots of questions so here goes.

My gear is my sig rig currently with an E6420([email protected]) in place of the E7200. I have 2 XFX 8800GT's not in SLI atm to fold seperatly to get mroe points of course. I can not seem to get a second client on the go by folowing this tutoiral:http://www.overclock.net/overclock-n...gfx-cards.html
I get an error stating that the target is incorrect or something to that affect. Also, I would like to know what "client" suits my needs more and gets me better preformance. I currently use FahMon and I just run 1 CPU client and 1 GPU client.
On another note, I would like to OC my cards as well to get a bit more out of them. Model numbers are as follows:
PV-T88P-YDQ4
PV-T88P-YSF4
They are both different cards, one has a higher base clock. I was interested in what a "safe" overclock, seeing as I have never oc'd a gpu before. I have rivatuner, gpuz, nvidia performance, basically all the goods I need to get the job done, just no experience with it, some advice would be helpfull for anything. Thanks!

you need the -gpu 0 and -gpu 1 flags... it sounds like.

and as far as clocks go, dpending on heat, try 735/1836/950(1900)
Core/Shaders/Ram

also check that they use different machine IDs.

"C
[email protected]@[email protected]" specified in the target box is not valid.

Are you changing the path name. If so create the shortcut and then drag to your desktop. Don't change the path and see how that goes.

I will try that, and get back to you guys. Thanks for the input, i really want to get 2 cards folding. Also these clocks seem to be ok (core at 53c, and mem at 44c on gpu1) according to Everest. Gpu2 is the same, but its idle doing nothing atm lol.

Promising!? Its plug-n-play! :swearing:
When I started GPU folding, I spent hours dealing with the exact same problem you had (with a lot of help from my OCN friends
). I got it working, but it flaked out 3 days later.
I went to these pre-made folders, and I have not gone back since.
It literally takes me a minute to set GPU folding up after a reformat.
Promising....Sheesh!

DUDE!!!! OMG THANKS A TON! You totally made my day!!!! Now I can fold on with 2 GPUs! Thank you ever so much for making things super easy! And I did not mean in any way to be insulting when I said "promising". Hope no offence taken, regardless, I have the files on a flash drive now like you said in your rundown, so when I get my other folding rig on the go this week I can just pop all that over! You sir have killed my frustrations! +1
