I've been trying to imitate the overclocking performances of users having roughly the same hardware as me, but without great success. Here's an example of what I mean:

Mine:

His:

I ran Prime95 for 12 hours and didn't encounter any problems. Although, those high temperatures are bothering me, especially because I saw people with stock cooling systems get lower ones with similar overclocks. What could I possibly be doing wrong? I believe the core voltage was set to 1.5 and the memory voltage, to 2.25. Here's the rest of the information:

Thanks for your help.

EDIT: By lowering the VCore to 1.35, I managed to reduce the temperature to 47/45. Doesn't seem to be as stable though. Feel free to give some ideas.

What else do you know about his?

I can tell you that there's a buy with an X6800 and his runs at -70c while I've seen some running at 55c, so what else is there about his?

BTW, Zalman heat-sink/fans are not as good as Big Typhoon or Tuniq Tower 120.

I read that it was a version of the X800 series, but I don't see the connection with my question nor do I understand what you exactly meant. As for the fan, is the difference really noticeable and worth a replacement (not according to this)?

I kinda don't believe that because I've seen fellas with Big Typhoon having better results than X-bitlabs, nevertheless the Tuniq Tower 120 is the absolute best but......

I just don't see how the Zalman and its 90mm fan can keep up when we all know that a 120mm fan is better in terms of cooling and the BT has a 120mm fan and so does the TT120.
There could be some other factors affecting your temps reading or maybe just the sensor is off by a few degrees. Use throttle watch and see if there's a problem, if not, leave it as it is.
