I can not for the love of god seem to get my 5.1 system to work with the xfx's integrated audio. I have used teh latest 64bit drivers, and made sure that my settings are set to 5.1. None of my games go though all the speakers, or itunes.

Any ideas?

try geting foobar and runing the 5.1 mixer dsp and see if that works.

a media player called "foobar 2000" it will basicaly play any audio file.

I had that same problem with my XFX 780i, never got it to work! On my new motherboard now I dont get 5.1 in itunes and so on, only in some games and dvd`s..
Wish I had sound in all the speakers all the time:/

So do i need a sperate Audio card? i had it working before but i had to reinstall windows.
Ok by turning on "convert stereo to 4 channels" it works.
I dont see a 5.1 sound DSP though

I had to go into the realtek CP and set it to "Speaker Fill"
